SUPRA SAEINDIA Drivers Training

Dear Faculty Advisors & Team Captains,

Greetings from SUPRA SAEINDIA 2011!

It gives me immense pleasure to inform that “ SUPRA SAEINDIA Drivers Training” is scheduled on 28th February - 3rd March 2011 at Kari Speedway, Chettipalayam, Coimbatore.

As informed earlier that drivers training is mandatory for participating in SUPRA SAEINDIA competition. 3 drivers from each team must attend the training only on the slot provided to them.

Pls find below the programme structure for drivers training.

9:00am - 11:00am Theory - Basics, Driving techniques, Car set-up, Study of Circuit map on whiteboard & discussion.
11:00am -1:00pm Simulator Driving- Students taken around the track by the instructor -
Study of corners, racing lines and driving techniques - Interaction with the instructors.
1:00pm - 2:00pmPractical - Students driving around the track and learning the techniques of race driving.
4:00pm - 5:30pmFormula car Drive by students
5:30pm - 6:00pmDe- Briefing session

Note :

1. All teams should report at Kari Speedway race track before 8. 30 A.M.

2. Original driving license is mandatory.

3. 3 drivers are mandatory & they should report on the day scheduled only.

4. No registration fees.

5. Accommodation will not be provided. However the hotels nearby Kari Speedway race track & Coimbatore Junction will be circulated to all teams shortly.
